Hello there. I have question about the sponsoring someone.

More details to this question:
My finance is currently in India. He had a Canadian PR card which has been on hold and he is currently going through an appeal process to get his PR card activated. He had to move back to India to care for his mother and as as result did not spend the required time in Canada. We will be getting married this month. Will I have any issues if I sponsor him for US immigration in the next 2-3 months.

There should be no issue with your spouse acquiring a green card because of the situation with his Canadian residence. He will need to be prepared to explain the situation if asked. He needs to be truthful when completing all applications and answering questions at interviews.
