how accurate is my receipt number on checking my case on USCIS. gov

More details to this question:
I checked my case online with the receipt number and its still not a decision on my case. But my lawye told me my case has been denied. I feel like she is trying to get more money from me, by telling me I have to file all over again. The receipt number that she mailed to me with the "supposedly" denial letter is not updated on USCIS website. Its given me an update about last year. please clarify this to me, I just Don't have money to keep paying if she is trying to rob me. PLEASE HELP!!

The USCIS Website is not always accurate or current. Tell your lawyer to send you the denial so you can read it for yourself. You should have an opportunity to appeal, which is typically 30 days from denial. So, you have an interest in getting the denial into your hands as soon as possible.
