How can I fix my fiance's legal status if he came to the US illegally?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to fix my fiance's papers we are getting married in less than 3 months. He came to the U.S illegally we have no children together. But we are thinking of adopting. Due to the matter that I can't conceive . We have our own home he is head of household. My checks only cover my school tuition and my car payments. I have no idea were to start, nor how long would it take. I just don't want him to be deported I wouldn't have no one to depend on. He has No criminal offenses I could really use some opinions. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

It depends on many different factors. How old was he when he came here? Are you a US citizen? The best solution is to meet with an attorney and talk about it in private.
