QUESTION

How can I have the I130 application fast tracked?

Asked on Nov 25th, 2013 on Immigration - Mississippi
More details to this question:
USCIS is eight months outside of normal processing time for my wifeโ€™s I130 application. They are processing February 2013 when her file was date for September 2012. What should I do because I did several service requests and still have nothing? The service request only says it is being processed and nothing more.

Are you a U.S. citizen? Is your wife in the U.S. or abroad? There is really no premium processing for I-130 petitions but if you are a U.S. citizen and the petition is in fact so far outside the normal processing times, you should do an inquiry and then follow steps to get it resolved.
