More details to this question:
I am a US citizen married to a British citizen. He entered the country legally. We are truly, madly in love and married, before his visa expired.It is now expired (6mnths) he has now been detained in El Paso processing for not being a US citizen. Our green card paper work is NOT filed yet. we live in New Mexico.
