If your daughter is a permanent resident and outside the US for over a year at a time she may lose her status.

You should apply for a re-entry permit for your child if she is going to be out of the country for more than a year. However, the re-entry permit is valid only for two years so your child has to return to the United States before the expiration of the 2-year period.

If your daughter is a green card holder and you wish to have stay outside the US for 2 years in Nepal, you should file a Form I-131 Reentry permit for her. This allows her to remain in Nepal for the next two years without loss of her green card. Because, the full facts of your case are unknown to this writer, I suggest you should consult an immigration attorney and disclose all the facts of your situation, and more importantly to consider the legal and other implications of leaving a 4 year old child in another country.
