how can i legalize my status in the US?

i have a b2 visa temporary for pleasure, and i have a pending I-130 petition filed out on my behalf by my father a US citizen. i would like to know how to legalize my status here or how can i speed up my pending case? thank you

If you're over 21 then you wouldn't be considered an immediate relative for immigration purposes. He could still sponsor you and you would have to wait until your priority date became current. Check the DOS visa bulletin for priority dates depending on your preference category. Also you would have to wait outside the US until your priority date became current unless you are currently in status by the time you adjust status if you wish to remain in the US.
