How do I correct my name on the application?

More details to this question:
In my N400 I made a mistake in First name and Last name. I wrote my first name in the last name field and last name in the first name field. Received my I-797 application received notice. What should I do?

You can make an appointment with the USCIS to make the correction or wait until the fingerprinting appointment to make the correction.

Call the National Customer Service toll free number on the receipt notice and let them know about your mistake as soon as possible.

Call and/or write a letter correcting the mistake. And bring it up at the interview.

You should phone customer service at 800-375-5283 and inform USCIS of the error. If the error is not corrected by the time of your interview, you can inform the interviewing officer of the error.
