QUESTION

How do I keep my illegal husband in the United States?

Asked on Mar 05th, 2015 on Immigration - Texas
More details to this question:
My husband was picked up by ICE on 3-2-15 and taken to be deported to El Salvador. We have 8 children, 4 that are his and they are US citizens. I have a severe blood clotting disorder and am unable to work. And it's difficult to take care of our children at times, he is the sole provider. I cannot provide for myself or my family without him here to take care of us.

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident? How old are your U.S. citizen children? Is your husband presently in removal/deportation proceedings? Does he have an order of removal issued by an immigration judge? I strongly suggest that you immediately contact an experienced immigration attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your husband's situation. (S)he would then be in a better position to analyze hia case and advise you of your options.

You need to quickly hire a lawyer and take action. Also, it would be helpful if you have all his court records/file.
