I’m not sure if my sponsor cancelled my 01 visa. Is there a way I can check before I leave the country temporarily for an overseas holiday as I would hate to come back into the country and wouldn’t be allowed?

They would send you a letter informing about the status termination/revocation of the petition. Work with an attorney.
