Usually the process takes about 10-12 months after you submit the form to USCIS for them to get the immigrant visas at the US Embassy in Moscow. Are both of the children under the age of 18?

If you are sponsoring her as the wife of a USA citizen, it's a bit slow right now. It's not unusual to take a year (sometimes longer) until a visa is issued to immigrate. Some people try to get the future spouse a B-2 visitor visa so their future spouse/spouse can come and stay for visits.

Once you are married you will need to file petitions for your wife and for your step child. The processing time varies depending upon the service center that handles it but generally these cases are taking anywhere between 6 to 9 months After these petitions are approved then the cases are sent to the National Visa Center for processing. Once the cases are cleared they are sent to the US Consulate Office abroad. Processing at the US consulate abroad depends upon the number of folks who are in-line for visas.
