How long does it take to get any feedback on a visa status?

As I have green card and I put my husband file on March 2011 and I submitted visa fee, sponsor later, police clearance certificate on 23rd July 2012 yet not getting visa call. How long does it take?

It depends on whether the priority date is current. IF it is, you can contact the NVC yourself to find out the status of the application.

To get a status check on progress you can get an InfoPass appointment with USCIS on their web site. The best way to speed up the process is for you to get your citizenship.
