How long does the I130 process take and should I call them to check the status?

My husband and I recently got married and we filed an I-130 with the USCIS, which was received on 11-13-2015 and then transferred to another state. According to the website, as of 11-24-2015, it has received but has not been accepted yet. They have already cashed the check.

It takes about 6 months. You can make an info pass appointment and see an officer. However, based on the time of your filing, I'd say there is nothing to worry about.
