How long will I have to wait for my husband's papers to be processed?

More details to this question:
I am a US citizen. It has been 5 months since I applied for my husband I only received a letter asking me if the name is correct. I can't call them because I can't find that letter. There's a number on it I am suppose to give them when I call and I don't have it.

It takes about six months for an adjustment and about 10 months for a consular application. Schedule an infopass appointment to get the receipt number. You can do this on the USCIS website.
