How long will it take to remove conditions on my green card?

More details to this question:
I have filled the form I-751 to remove the conditions on my green card last August and until now I haven't received it yet. Why are they taking so long to send it?

You should have received something by now. I suggest that you make an infopass at your local USCIS office and ask the officer what the status of your case is.

The process can take 7-10 months, on average.

We are given to understand that this is not being handled in a "priority" manner. We are given to understand that the processing times at 12 months.

Sometimes it can take more than 6 months and an interview is needed.

In my experience it has taken between a few months to a year for USCIS to make a decision on a petition to remove conditions. However, you should have received a notice extending your conditional status and employment authorization to be used while the petition is pending.

There has recently been a long backlog for the I-751 processing. My office has been seeing delays of over a year. You may call USCIS in order to ascertain the status of your application but you are still within their current processing times.

The processing time for I-751 petitions at the Vermont Service Center (VSC) is currently about 11 months. USCIS's website indicate that the VSC is currently processing cases from April 9, 2012: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcwch9Gf3-qeaBnwpi2t
