QUESTION

How much time will be taken more for an I130?

Asked on Nov 21st, 2016 on Immigration - Illinois
More details to this question:
My husband filed a petition I130 (spouse) from the US. It’s already 10 months and we are living apart. On August 29 2016, we gave evidence to USCIS. After that, we didn't receive any update from them. Our case sent to NSC. Now we don't know when our case shifted to NVC.

It depends upon processing, the status of your husband, and the additional fee and evidence required. There are personal obligations, which can prove financially challenging. If the marriage is no longer viable, then you can withdraw the petition, which may make sense depending upon whether you are in marriage counseling. I strongly recommend an appointment with a competent and experienced immigration attorney. Good luck.
