QUESTION

How to have the 10 year punishment removed

Asked on Nov 16th, 2015 on Immigration - Utah
More details to this question:
I was given a ten year punishment for entering the US illegally twice. The first time I entered illegally I was 2 year old. I stayed in the United States for a year and a half and then went back to mexico. When I turned 4 ,I came back to the united states and have lived in the United States since then. I returned to mexico again at age 17 because I had an appointment at the US consulate in Ciudad Juarez. I was denied my residency and given a ten year punishment. I was wondering what my options are and what I coud do so I can be reconsidered for my residency. Thank you in advance.

There is no waiver (pardon) for the mandatory 10 year bar. You simply wait it out in Mexico. Be aware that when you process to come back to the USA you will be asked to prove that you have resided in Mexico for 10 years, you will need documents and evidence.
