I am a U.S citizen with two children also usa i am currently petiontiong for my husband so he can become a resident does me having medicaid affect him

The only thing me and my children have is medicaid we did get another affidavit because i was on maternity leave but other than that we have no help i work but yea me and my two kids are citizens but me being the one petioning for him will this affect him in any way having medicaid ?

no..but the issue that will affect you is that the sponsor (you) who petitions for the foreign national (your husband) must complete a financial affidavit that shows that you have sufficent income to meet the guidelines for a family of 4. If you dont have sufficent income, then you have to find a joint sponsor who does have sufficent income to meet the guidelines for a family of 4.
