I got marrried to my husband because I truly loved him. After I found out he was u documented, I decided to help him with his papers because I truly loved him. As we’re now in this covid 19 pandemic, I’m seeing him for his true colors and realize he no longer loves me and is just using me to get his papers. Because of the pandemic, the green card process is still on hold. What can I do to remove myself from the filing process and not be penalized since he no longer loves me and wants to be with me. I tried working things out with him but he’s not willing to listen to me. How can I remove myself from the process? We haven’t been married for long but this marriage isn’t going to work and I don’t think I should be penalized on his behalf?
I'm sorry that it didn't work out. Yes you can withdraw the application. Read the instructions on the forms as to how to send notifications that you intend to withdraw. There won't be any refunds though. Good luck.
