I came in 2015 for an undergraduate in Education. Throughout my undergraduate years, I went home 2x. After I graduated, I worked for 1 year. Then, I came back to school because it was the year when Corona started (2022) and I felt like I was not good enough to go back home. So I started my masters degree in Education. In winter 2020, I decided to go back to Indonesia to save money. I stayed until Summer 2021. I came back in Fall 2021 and have been here since. I graduated with my masters in May 2022 and got a teaching position at Dallas ISD. And, a couple months ago, my H1B petition was approved. Now my family is considering having me back in Indonesia for the summer because my brother is going to study abroad in a different country and I may not get to see him. Also, my grandmother is getting old. So, this may be the last chance of my family (all in Indonesia) getting back together before awhile. In your opinion, how big is my chance to get my visa approved to reenter the USA?
From reading your fact situation, it does not appear that you have violated status at any time and that you actually made trips back to the home country during the time that you have been holding F-1 status. You appear to have a position, teaching in the Dallas ISD, that would not generally be subject to question by the US Consulate. As such, barring any unknowns, I would assess your chances of obtaining a visa to reenter the US under H-1B status to be as good as or better than other applicants.
