I met someone online. He wishes to live here in the US with me from Russia. We want to get married, but he is coming here on a 30 day tourist visa. What can we do to get him to stay so we can be together. We are gay and in his country he doesn't feel safe there and not able to be himself. He always has to hide who he is. I just want him to stay and he wants to stay.

A foreign national who enters on a tourist visa with the intention of only visiting can adjust status to get a green card through marriage if that foreign national later changes his mind, gets married and decides to remain permanently.
