More details to this question:
I need help with my case I am a green card holder for about 16 years I have pleaded guilty after 5 years of holding green card for 2 misdemeanor B on 05/26/2004 it has been almost 12 years I would like to know can I apply for a Citizenship now when I pleaded guilty my Immigration Lawyer told me if I stayed clean for 5 years and pleads guilty for 2 misdemeanor B instead of going to trial and take a risk of getting a felony on your record its not going to be a problem after 5 years can you please help I live in North Carolina now but I was arrested and plead guilty in New York can you please help me in my case should i file it by my self or should I get a lawyer thank you.

You may be able to file for naturalization. The answer to your inquiry will depend upon much more information. I would need to know what crime you pled guilty to committing. I would also need to know what sentence was imposed upon you.
