QUESTION

I-130 Petition for Parent

Asked on Sep 25th, 2014 on Immigration - California
More details to this question:
I submitted my I-130 petition for my mom sometimes in May of 2014. I received a Notice of Action letter saying that they received my application on May 30th of 2014, and up to this date September 25, 2014 I don't receive anymore correspondence from USCIS. I keep on checking it online and still the same status that they received my application on May 30, 2014. Do you know how long will it takes to process the said application. I'm petitioning my mom from the Philippines. I lived and filed my petition from California. Thank you. Is anyone can give me some positive feedback?

At this time, the processing time chart of U.S.C.I.S. shows that the California service center has a backlog of 5 months. I assume that if you supplied the correct documentation, you will probably receive an adjudication from the service center within the next 2 months.
