QUESTION

I-360 and OFP?

Asked on Jun 20th, 2016 on Immigration - Minnesota
More details to this question:
I'm about to file an i360. I currently have an OFP against my husband and he is respecting it. I'm considering dropping it only so he can see our daughter, not to get back together. Will that affect the results of my i360 application?

You should not drop the OFP. The order could possibly be modified to allow visits with his daughter. Speak to an experienced family law attorney in the area where the OFP was issued. You can read more about VAWA at http://myattorneyusa.com/eb4-visa-category-special-immigrants.
