If I get married to a person which is not in the US, will that affect my application process?

More details to this question:
I just started my citizenship process. He lives in Mexico. I live in California. He has never been to the US but I go every year to Mexico.

If you are eligible for naturalization to US citizenship, the fact that you marry someone who is a foreigner should not affect your eligibility in any way.

If you are asking whether your marriage to someone from another country will affect your naturalization process, the answer is no. You can marry anyone you want, in any country you want and still apply for naturalization. Just remember to answer any questions regarding your marital status honestly.
