I submitted a form to adjust my status to become a green card holder on January 2025. My sponsor made less than $25000 in 2023. USCIS sent a request for evidence and ask to provide a joint sponsor. My sponsor got hired and worked in 2024 and made $ 64000. His filling status is single and he has no children . Should I file a new affidavit of support with the sponsor 2024 tax return ? Or just mail the 1040 and w2 for 2025

There are instructions to the I 864 that explain the process when it comes to what a joint sponsor needs to supply to the government. If you do not understand these instructions, some of us will be able to take over the case, even though it's pending. Counsel in any state can represent you.

Generally, a joint sponsor needs to provide an Affidavit of Support, their latest tax return, W2 and proof of immigration status. Good Luck.
