I was charged with theft but my lawyer was able 2 reach a deal with the DA n he gave me trespass ! But I want 2 know how this will affect my immigration status when am workn on my stay here! Thanx

Your criminal defense attorney is required by a recent Supreme Court decision to properly advise you about the immigration consequences of your plea. If he or she is not familiar with immigration law, they are required to consult with someone who is.
