immigration issue and child visitation rights

More details to this question:
My friend is an illegal immigrate she is married to a Us citizen, but has been to separate for three years. Her husband refuses to help her they have two daughters who she loves , he husband will not let her see them or call them  he has in fact, made threats to call  immigration if she comes near her daughters she has always been a devoted mother to her girls and tho her legal issues he love as a mothet to see her daughters for her our first What rights does she have as an immigrate to see her daughters? can her husband keep her from seeing her girl's? Please help my friend.

It sounds as though she may be able to self-petition for a green card under VAWA, Violence Against Women Act.  Please have her contact an attorney to see if she qualifies. She may want to go to a Family Court's Facilitator's office to help her sort out the custody issues or a family law attorney, if she can afford one.
