Immigration status

Asked on Aug 09th, 2016 on Immigration - Massachusetts
More details to this question:
I am currently in the process of re adjustment status with my wife but thins have been rough . I had domestic violence charges but it was dropped because she did not show up . After no changing my ways I have them again towards me and I also have a 209 A Abuse prevention order toward me . At first it was no contact at all but after a change of heart my wife modified and only left 1 and 2 . Which states no abuse and no firearm . My question is at this point should I withdraw my application ? Which effect would this have on me ? Which adverse effect the no abuse order has on me ? My wife is pregnant , I really love her . I just get angry really fast . We are currently in couple counseling . Will this help my case in immigration ? What is the outcome of this case ?

You need to proceed with caution. This an instance where it may better to withdraw the application for now and proceed at a later date. However, to give appropriate guidance, an attorney will need to review all the criminal and domestic violence related documents. I encourage you to take these documents to an experienced attorney for a thorough assessment before taking any action.
