Asked on May 29th, 2018 on Immigration - California
More details to this question:
Its been only 6 months since I'm in the USA as an international student getting acquainted with the culture and rules. I got an on-campus job where I am a web designer. While general chatting with my roommates I describe my work description where I mentioned I have to verify transcripts. My roommate who is also international student felt insecure and threatened me that he will complain international center and get me in trouble.Since that day I'm feeling depressed and insecure that once I leave the USA they will never let me in. I cant talk this to anyone. I don't have enough funds to consider legal advisor. What did I do wrong? Its been a month now.

Assuming that you obtained your on-campus job lawfully and did not disclose any personal facts about anyone while chatting with you roommates, I do not see that you would be getting into trouble with the international center. You would only have a problem being let back into the U. S. if your student status was terminated. Otherwise you should be OK.
