Asked on Mar 20th, 2015 on Immigration - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I am a DACA recipient. I got it before I turned 18 so I did not accrued illegal presence. I entered the country when I was 5 with a visa. I have no family member who can sponsor me, but my employer is willing to do it. How not complicated is the process? I am a clerical in a construction company. Thanks in advance.

An employer may sponsor you, but still there will be a question of possible adjustment. Meet with an attorney.

Your question is an excellent one. Since you have not accrued unlawful presence you can pursue employment-based green card as long as you can continue to maintain your DACA status. Since the position sounds like an unskilled labor position, you need to know that the petition could take you many years. Also it depends upon what country you're from as to whether or not you will be subject to severe backlogs in the unskilled labor classifications. There is no substitute for seeking a qualified immigration law professional to assist you with your matter.
