More details to this question:
My fiancé Jose is being deported next month. He is a citizen of Dominican Republic and came here illegally in 1995 through Puerto Rico. We have 4 US born children. Only involvement with law is getting caught using the identity (2010) he purchased when he arrived in the US. Charged with identity fraud. He was granted a stay of removal in 2011 it was extended for 1 yr than 6months (to prepare for departure only). In Nov we applied for another extension and it was denied. He has been ordered to report to ICE on Feb 20th with plane ticket. He is also on a GPS monitoring device which is on his ankle.
Removal cases are very complex. An attorney would need to fully evaluate your fiancé's case to determine if it is still possible to obtain other relief.
