Asked on May 14th, 2016 on Immigration - North Carolina
More details to this question:
My husband received his green card 2 1/2 months ago. I came home one day to an empty house he had quit his job, closed our joint bank account and fled to Pennsylvania. He just recently changed his phone number and he has changed his address and phone number so that our 4 yr old daughter can't even call him. He sent me a typed letter stating that he never loved me and all he wanted was his green card. What should I do? Cause even if we divorce according to ins I'm still responsible for him. Is marriage fraud evendors acknowledged in NC?

It appears your husband may have committed marriage fraud. You should contact the USCIS field office where you and your husband were interviewed. You can also notify the Department of Homeland Security. You would not be responsible for your husband financially if he lost his residence.
