Is there anything he can do to stop from being deported due to traffic violations?

I have my best friend who is 23 years old and is being deported back to Mexico in 3 months. He is the only child from his parents who were born in Mexico. He came to the United States when he was 2 and never went back. He went to school here and graduated high school. Both his sisters were born here and his parents are here in the United States as well. He's being deported because of traffic violations. I find that so disturbing. He knew nothing about Mexico. It will be like sending him to a foreign country.
