You appear to have been doing all of the things to track your case that any reasonable person would do. It is difficult to know what the problem is although many cases of delay can be attributable to background checks in which other persons who are of interest to law enforcement have a common name to yours. As it has already been over 2 years, you may consider the option of bringing suit against the agency in federal court. I note, however, that while such a suit may expedite consideration of your case, it will not assist you in obtaining ultimate naturalization if you are barred from naturalization under any ground of law. You need to file a mandamus action in federal court to force USCIS to make a decision on your case. To determine if this is the best plan for you, you need to contact me to discuss your case in greater detail. I look forward to hearing from you.
