QUESTION

Job change after Green Card

Asked on Aug 13th, 2013 on Immigration - North Carolina
More details to this question:
I am currently on L1-A. My company applied for my I-140 and I-485 in June 2013 under EB-1 category. I got my I-140 approved in Aug 2013. My I-145 is expected to get approved in next couple of months and I am expecting to get my Green Card by Nov 2013. How many days after Nov 2013, I can change my job, though I will remain in similar occupation. Is there any hard core rule on that from USCIS? Please advise.

There is no bright-line rule.  Once you have your green card, you are free to take employment elsewhere without risk of loosing your green card.
