K1 Fiance Visa Question

Asked on Feb 26th, 2014 on Immigration - Massachusetts
More details to this question:
My lawyer who sent my fiance visa application and paper work sent my proof of employment letter also with the packet. We got the approval and soon my fiance will go for the interview. They are asking for proof of petinioner's employment. I sent him my recent pay stubs and my w-2's. (Which the lawyer had said was enough) I am just worried that they will want the letter but shouldn't they have it already? Do i need to send it to him again? (by email?) Thank you.

Consular officers can be somewhat picky and it could be that your fiancé would be better off with a more recent original job letter. To be safe, you should obtain another job letter from your employer and if time is a consideration express mail it to your fiancé.
