Hi, We applied L2 EAD for my wife in 2012. we got EAD till Jan 2015. We went back India and again came to US, EAD is still valid but my L2 expired in Feb-14 and now we are on I94 valid till Jan 2016. Now my wife is looking for job so have some questions about legal EAD status 1. Can she work on same EAD till Jan-15 2. Can we file for EAD renewal on basis of I94 3. EAD was on old I94, should we renew it on new I94.

When you say that you are on I-94s valid until January 2016, I assume that you are still under L-1/L-2 statuses. If such is true, your wife's L-2 EAD is still valid and she can work until January 2015. If you are still maintaining L-1/L-2 status from January 2015 onwards, your wife can also file for EAD renewal. The EAD is based upon current L-2 legal status during the time that you are here under L-1. It is not attached to any specific I-94.
