If you believe that your present attorney has not fulfilled your agreement and has taken your monies, you should first write to him or her explaining why your contract has been breached and asking for an immediate refund. Failing to obtain a favorable resolution within a reasonable period of time, you can make a complaint to the local Bar Association setting out the reasons for which you believe the lawyer breached his or her ethical duty to you. You can also attach any correspondence and agreement along with receipts with your complaint letter.
