I am a spouse of abusive US citizen. I am getting different responses from different immigration attorneys regarding me filing for vawa. media and internet are not helpful. Only information I understand is "wava has not been reauthorized". Is vawa alive and may I file for vawa now in 2013?

Filing is not a problem, there may be a delay in processing but filing is not a problem.
