I am a joint sponsor of an immigrant who now is a permanent resident. I, through the affidavit of support form I-864, sponsored her
And now she is receiving the state provided medicare on the state of illinois. My question is what is the possibility of
The state make me reimburse the cost of the medicare occured on the sponsored immigrant? Why did not the state verify my income
Before approving her application for medicare since my income counts towards her income because i sponsored her?

You should have familiarise yourself with the responsibility of a sponsor before signing up under that affidavit. It is too late now. With that said, Medical insurance even state spomsored is not the benefit that would get you in trouble. Please see below.
