More details to this question:
My lawyer says security check(background) is a hang-up, nothing he can do about, Congress office give me same answer.
Filed in march2011, FP Apr., 2 interview in June&Aug and now no response.

Since you already have a lawyer, another attorney (like me) cannot give you advice--it would violate a lawyer's ethical obligations to advise someone who is already represented by an attorney.
