My fiancé and I are due to be married this Friday April 20th. However, she does not have a social security number, but does have a valid NC DL.

More details to this question:
She entered the country illegally. What are the chances of her being deported when we go apply for our marriage license. She has never been in trouble with the law, not even a speeding ticket. The register of deeds said they would just make her sign an affidavit. The last thing I would want is to take her up there to get married only to get her in trouble. She has a son born in the US. Are we taking a risk or will we be just fine?
Hello,
You can marry your fiancee without any fear of deportation as the county registrar is different from the USCIS. Their job is simply to marry people and not to check their immigration status. You indicated that your wife entered the US illegally, therefore you should consult with an immigration attorney if you wish to find out if and how she can obtain legal immigration status in the U.S. Good luck.
