My friend came on F1 status to USA and got married and got an EAD and know planning to get divorce , how does this affect her legal status

1. She has never used her EAD to work anywhere. 2. She is still pursuing her education on F1. 3. How would it impact her current and future legal status if she still wants to remain on F1.

If the marriage was entered into in good faith, the fact that it is not working out does not mean the process to adjust status cannot continue. Your friend should talk to a lawyer to help her through the adjustment process under these circumstances.
