Where child support is concerned, applicants for immigration should be paying their support obligations. That goes to good moral character. If your husband is paying his child support, U.S.C.I.S. would usually just look at the other financials to see whether the offer of employment is enough to support him and his obligation (if an employment based case) or if the affidavit of support by the petitioner is sufficient for the same purpose (if a family based case).
