My long term partner and I would like to marry. I am a US citizen, he is a British citizen. We both own homes in Florida.

We would like the marriage to be recognized in England and the US. We intend to live in Florida, but will visit his family in England frequently. He does not intend to work in the US. Would like to consult with an attorney regarding the legal process.

Hello. Once you marry, you can file for your spouse's green card. This can take place in the US if he are here or via the US consulate if he is still in the UK.
