More details to this question:
The consular officer has refused to renew my sister US passport in Khatoum, Sudan after requiring so many documents from her he than told her let you kids apply for immigration visa because you no longer a US citizen. So she sent her passport to the US to renew it for her. We the passport but it has been almost two months and they continue to the application being procssed. What can be done in our to get this matter resolved my sister wants come back to the US.

She could not have lost her US citizenship. Either she did not understand or that person she talked to was not an US consulate officer.
