More details to this question:
SO I paid a lawyer to file a EB2-NIW application for me. She said she'll do it and let me know asap. This is 4+ weeks ago now. For the past like 4 wks, I've called, emailed, faxed and even spent money to fly out there to where she was so I can be at her office physically but no response whatsoever. Was only able to reach her husband who seems non-chalant about the whole thing. The lawyer is in FL and her husband says he's in NY and asks me to call the office despite me telling him over and over that I've tried to do that. Lawyer is M.I.A and I've tried all I can to reach her. She knows my situation is a time sensitive issue. WHat to do?! I can file the NIW myself but dont want to risk making the mistake. It will suck to have to pay another lawyer $8000+ to do this. What to do?
