More details to this question:
Hi. I have a friend who occasionally got someone to do paid omestic work at her home. My friend found out the helper is illegal as he was stopped by the police whilst driving few days ago. My friend has not heard back from the indivudal after that. Does my friend run any risk, if the individual says he occasionally worked at her home? What should my friend say/do if he told the the police and they ask her?

Employing someone who is not authorized to work in the United States is a crime. However, your friend is not likely to face any issues. If asked, she should be truthful with investigators as lying or avoiding them can lead to far worse issues.
