I'm a Canadian, & I'm in a relation with a guy within the US. We're not ready for marriage with only being together for a short time, (I had stayed with him for some months, but due to the b-visa, couldn't stay and came home) but we dont want to keep being seperated for these lengthly amounts of time as its hard on us both and stressing. Is there any way to apply for any form of greencard status, that won't take a long time to go through? or anything we can do to help our situation that doesn't lead us to doing something we're not ready for? The only option I can see being easy would be finding an employer to sponcor me, but I couldn't find how long the application and such would take. I would really appreciate a more knowledgable person to help myself and my boyfriend figure out an easier way of being together without the seperation. Thank you for the help and if any more details are needed, I'd be glad to give more information. (From Ontario as I couldnt select option of province)
Hello. The fastest form of a green card is via marriage. Otherwise, you can get a temporary work visa based on a US job offer and your qualifications. Thus, I would need more information about your background etc. (you can email me your CV to Harun@ksvisalaw.com). The other option is to come as a student. Then, you can come and stay (but not work). I hope this helps.
